Titus Pollard,  DPLA Fellow

Titus earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee. He is a Tennessee Teacher Corps alum, and a former member of the Music Educator’s National Conference.

Titus is a former music teacher and college choir conductor, having taught all levels (K thru 12) of public school.
He was a Math English-Language Arts Interventionist at Hope Valley Elementary, and served his Administrative Residency at Lowe's Grove Middle School.
He currently serves as the Middle School Assistant Principal at The Lakeview School in Durham.

The Durham Principal Leadership Academy (DPLA) is the latest iteration of the Northeast Leadership Academy (NELA). DPLA is part of the larger work of increasing student achievement by preparing principals in high-poverty, hard-to-staff, and historically low-performing schools.
